    • Two Factor Authentication — now offers a text-message (SMS) option in addition to the authenticator app. Users opt in on their own profile by ticking Use SMS for two-factor verification after entering a mobile number; on the sign-in 2FA screen they then see a Send code by SMS link beside the code boxes.

    • Kiosk Mode - allow staff to view the dashboard live - administrators control what accounts can see

    • New Accreditation Canada section for Canadian customers preparing for an HSO / Qmentum survey, covering all ten Required Organizational Practices: a Readiness heat map, a ROP Catalog browser, ROP-targeted PDSA Action Plans, ROP-scoped Tracers, Risk Screens for Falls / Skin Integrity / VTE / Suicide / At-home, and a printable Evidence Export.

    • New top-level Compliance and Standards section in the help groups Joint Commission, Accreditation Canada, and the Leapfrog Hospital Survey cover together for easier navigation.

    • New Leapfrog tab on the Account editor for setting account-wide observation targets and Complete / Gap status thresholds, with matching per-unit overrides on the Unit editor.

    • Leapfrog Hand Hygiene Standard updated to the 2026 Survey (carries forward verbatim from the 2024 Hand Hygiene Fact Sheet; Section 6C of Leapfrog’s 2026 Proposed Changes confirms no rule changes for 2026). Pathway logic is unchanged — Path A still requires ≥200 opportunities/unit/month and Path B still allows ≥100/unit/month when all four other domains are fully met. The shipped custom audit and the rtLeapfrog_HandHygiene report are relabeled accordingly, and the placeholder Training, Infrastructure, and Culture questions have been replaced with text drawn from the publicly stated 2026 domain requirements.

    • New Pareto Hand Hygiene report — sorts non-compliance by Moment, HCP, or Unit and overlays a cumulative-percentage line with an 80 % reference, so improvement effort can be focused on the small number of categories that drive the bulk of failures.

    • New HAI Cost-Avoidance / ROI report — translates compliance lift into a defensible dollar figure (avoided HAIs × cost, plus length-of-stay and readmission savings, minus prorated program cost), on a single executive page. Inputs are tunable per account on the new ROI Assumptions page.

    • New Word Template report (Ultimate edition) — renders live compliance data and charts into a Word (.docx) template you supply, so the layout and branding are entirely yours. Outputs Word or a PDF derived from it. Each report picks its own template from a per-account template library (download, edit in Word using {tag} and {chart:…} placeholders, then upload), and a default template ships as a starting point.

    • Most reports have been converted to support excel file format

    • Reports can now be optimized for black and white printers to improve readability

    • New Member tab on the Report editor lists every distribution list the report belongs to and lets you remove it from any one of them with a single click.

    • New Report Builder (Ultimate edition) — design your own report by picking a dataset, choosing the columns, adding an optional chart, and laying out a three-section header and footer, all with a live preview. Includes datasets for compliance, technique distribution, audit sessions, custom audits, users, facilities, units, alerts, health care providers, distribution lists, and a combined comments and notes view.

    • Report Builder now also produces Excel and Word files, adds filters and multi-column sorting, totals rows (per-column with a Grand Total and per-group subtotals), and colour-coded number columns that follow your account colour ranges. more info

    • Report Builder charts gained axis titles, a fixed value-axis range, and an above / below the table position; plus new datasets for compliance by Moment, by provider, an observer summary, and custom audit category scores. more info

    • More Report Builder datasets — Attribute / PPE Distribution, Observation Volume by Day, Session Completeness, Compliance Targets, Audit Schedule, Inter-Rater Reliability, Roles, and Auditing Devices. more info

    • Report Builder reports can now end with a settings summary — the data source, scope, period, filters, sort, and grouping — and a built report now refreshes as soon as you save it. more info

    • Report Builder PDF and Excel output now repeats the logo, header, column headings, and footer on every page, sizes the table to the page width, and starts each group on a new page. more info

  • Distribution Lists

    • New Go/NoGo feature, prevents distribution lists from being sent if any of the reports are stale (failed to update)

    • Add the ability to remove a specific email from one or more distribution lists.

    • “Only Once” Guarantee ensures that distribution lists cannot send out the same list more than once

    • New Shared Report Portal for the Send Report Link Only option — recipients click a link in their email, confirm their address, then pick which reports to download from a full-page list with selection checkboxes, pagination, and a Download Selected / Download All dropdown.

    • Share links in distribution emails now honour the account’s configured Domain so recipients can open them from anywhere, instead of falling back to a local server address.

    • New Delivery Method picker on every distribution list lets you choose how each list ships its reports — by Email (the existing behaviour), over FTPS to a customer-owned file server, into a SharePoint document library via Microsoft Graph, or to any WebDAV-compatible server (Nextcloud, OpenCloud, ownCloud, Apache mod_dav, IIS WebDAV, and others). All methods honour the same schedule, the same Merge PDF / Compress ZIP options, and the same Go/No-Go readiness checks — only the destination changes.

    • Added two more secure delivery methods to the Delivery Method picker: SFTP (SSH File Transfer Protocol over port 22, with password or private-key sign-in) for the most widely supported trading-partner file-drop method, and AS2 (Applicability Statement 2, the HIPAA EDI standard) for partners that require S/MIME-signed and -encrypted messages with a Message Disposition Notification.

    • New Test Connection button on the FTPS, SharePoint, and WebDAV tabs verifies credentials before the next scheduled run, surfacing the exact error the destination returned so configuration problems can be fixed without waiting for a failed delivery. The WebDAV test actually round-trips a small marker file so it also verifies write permission, not just reachability.

    • Distribution list rows now show a small icon indicating the delivery method (envelope for Email, network-storage for FTPS, Microsoft icon for SharePoint, cloud-upload for WebDAV), with a hover tooltip showing the destination host, site, or URL.

    • New Include XML Compliance Files option on every distribution list lets you ship the account’s XML compliance files alongside, or instead of, regular reports. Turning the option on reveals a new XML tab where the specific files can be picked from the live contents of the account’s XML compliance area; the picker honours the same delivery methods, the same Compress Reports (ZIP) bundling, and the same Go/No-Go readiness checks as reports. The list page’s reports column now shows the combined count (reports + XML files) with a hover tooltip giving the breakdown.

  • Email

    • updated the email templates

    • new feature to identify failed emails from organizations due to incorrect email addresses entered, policy changes, or individuals that have left the organization

    • Redesigned the Send Report Link distribution email with a modern HTML layout — blue banner, detail card with list name, send date, organization, frequency, and owner, prominent View Reports button, and an optional highlighted note from the list owner. A plain-text version with the same information is sent alongside for mail clients that do not render HTML.

    • Redesigned the Reminders screen — reminder settings are now grouped into Hand Hygiene, Audit Scheduling, and Custom Audits categories, each with its own copy-to list. Audit Scheduling adds a missed-audit email, an observer weekly digest of upcoming assignments, and a coordinator weekly summary. more info

  • Auditing

    • Updates to the cp2go applications for IOS, Android, and Windows

    • A new Progressive Web Application (PWA) that can run with no network connection, and does not need to be downloaded from an app store

    • Added device-code sign-in for the cp2go Windows, Android, and Apple apps — the app shows a short code, an administrator approves the device from the Auditing Devices page, and the app signs in with no username or password typed on the device more info

    • You can now just enter your side id, for example enter hope in URL and double tap and cp2go will expand it out to https://hope.cphs.cloud

    • Refreshed the cp2go help with form-factor walkthroughs (Tablet/Desktop and Mobile) and a consolidated screenshot set more info

    • Added a printable Hand Hygiene Auditor Training walkthrough on the Documents page, covering tablet and mobile auditing, sync, and troubleshooting

    • New Import Audits workspace on the Hand Hygiene Sessions page, letting administrators upload iScrub CSV or Ministry of Health CSV files directly from the browser, queue them into the existing import engine per account, and have the source files automatically renamed so they cannot be re-imported by accident.

    • New Scheduling page under Account → Advanced for planning observation coverage by facility, unit, shift, and period — including a one-click Build a Full Schedule tool that generates a year of monthly schedules sized to each unit’s Leapfrog target more info.

    • New Audit Progress heatmap under the Audits menu, showing real-time coverage versus target for every active schedule, with pace (ahead / behind), coverage colour bands, and a My assignments filter so observers can see exactly what is still on their plate more info.

    • New Inter-Rater Reliability workspace under Account → Advanced for scheduling co-observation windows, attaching each rater’s hand-hygiene session, and computing a rate-agreement score with a per-moment breakdown to focus auditor coaching more info.

    • Now supports FHIR (Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources), an industry standard for hospitals to exchange health records and data, allowing for tighter integrations with Epic, Cerner, and other health-record platforms

    • New Notifications section with outbound subscriptions for Microsoft Teams, Slack, and any HTTPS endpoint that accepts JSON. Configured under Accounts | Advanced | Teams Integration and available to root users and account administrators. Subscriptions support per-severity and per-module filters, an in-app Send test button, an Account dropdown, an Enabled slider, a one-click URL copy button, and automatic disable after repeated delivery failures.

1.2. Q1 2026

  • Users can now quickly determine which reports are assigned to distribution lists, by clicking on the action menu item in the report list.

  • Add a new Report Age icon in the Report List, you can visually see how long its been since updating.

  • Users can now select any distribution lists to run by checking the check box adjacent to the distribution name and then choosing Execute Selected Distribution Lists from the action drop down menu.

  • Minor updates to cp2go for Android and Windows devices. Version updated to 5.9.5.

1.3. Q4 2025
