Q: Where is our compliance data stored when we choose the hosted option ?
A: All data is stored in CANADA. This includes the instance of clearPath, local backups and offsite backups to our private cloud.

Q What would our URL for accessing the platform ?
A: It would typically be siteid.cphs.cloud (where the siteid would be an abbreviation of your organization name. i.e. Hope Memorial Hospital would by https://hmm.cphs.cloud).

Q Is there an additional cost for the hosted solution ?
A: No the hosted and on premise versions of clearPath are the same cost.

Q: Is the web interface secure ?
A: Yes. We use LetsEncrypt domain validated certificates for encryption. Certificates are rotated every 90 days. All traffic between your browser and the clearPath server is encrypted with TLS.

Q: Do you still require a VPN for access into our Facility
A: No we don’t. If there are existing VPN configured for access to your organization for clearPath the account can be removed.

Q: Does clearPath store patient names, ID’s or any other patient identifiers in it’s database ?
A: No we don’t collect or store any patient identifiers.

Q: Do you monitor system performance and uptime ?
A: Yes, we use an uptime monitoring system that alerts us via email and/or SMS message if any of the servers are experiencing issues.

Q: Do you backup data in the event of an outage or hardware failure ?
A: Yes, we do. For more details on our backup strategy click here.

Q: We have a report that we use internally, would it be possible to add it into clearPath ?
A: Yes it is possible. If there is no existing report in clearPath we will consider adding it. For more information on new report requests click here.

Q: How do you protect user password in clearPath ?
A: User passwords are stored using an SHA256 HMAC function. Password are never stored or transfered in clear text.
