Mobile Mode
===========

|APPNAME| detects small-screen devices (phones and compact tablets) and
offers a streamlined Mobile Mode layout designed for completing audits on
the go. Mobile Mode shows only the actions you need while carrying the
device on rounds --- hand hygiene observations and custom audits --- and
hides the full sidebar and dashboard so more of the screen is available
for the task at hand.

Switching Modes
---------------

* On a phone or narrow screen, Mobile Mode is the default.
* Tap the monitor icon in the top-right of the mobile header to switch to
  the full Desktop interface. Desktop is the same experience as on a
  laptop or desktop computer and is fully usable on larger tablets.
* From the Desktop interface on a small screen you can switch back to
  Mobile at any time from the user menu.

|APPNAME| remembers the last mode you chose on each device.

Light and Dark
--------------

Mobile Mode respects the light / dark theme preference from the main
interface and exposes a sun/moon button in the header so you can change it
on the spot --- useful when moving between bright and dim areas of a
facility.

What's Available
----------------

The home screen presents two large tiles:

* **Hand Hygiene** --- Direct-observation hand hygiene audits. Takes you
  straight into the audit form so an auditor can start recording
  observations without navigating menus.
* **Custom Audits** --- PPE, environmental, safety, and outpatient
  surveys. Opens the custom audit picker listing any audits you have
  permission to run.

Reporting, dashboards, and administration are intentionally not shown on
Mobile Mode. Switch to Desktop Mode when you need to review results or
change configuration.
